What does repentance mean?
True biblical repentance when it comes to salvation means to believe On Christ. When you believe On Christ for your salvation, biblically speaking you have just repented. You are repenting of your unbelief in The Savior Jesus to now believing in Him. In other words you are turning from (you are forsaking) whatever you were originally putting your trust in to save you (example being a good person, keeping the law of Moses etc.) to now trusting and believing in Christ alone to save you.
